LENT & EASTER & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN

There is something really appealing about binaries: two things, presented as opposite extremes, and all we need to do is choose. This or that, black or white, cheese or chocolate. Binaries point us toward easy answers and simple categories, but the truth is that almost everything is more complex than a simple “this or that” binary would lead us to believe.

This Lent, following along with some familiar bible stories from Luke’s gospel, we’re going to look beyond some common black and white binaries with an eye for where God might be meeting us in the messy middle.

March 16: Faith & Works
March 23: Rest & Growth
March 30: Lost & Found
April 6: Righteousness & Mercy
April 13: Shouting & Silence
April 20 (Easter): Grief & Hope

Join us each week for worship in the sanctuary or online as we look at everything in between these so-called opposites and discover that God is with us through it all.
BREAKING BREAD IN BETWEEN

The life of faith isn’t only lived in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings, but through every moment in between! Breaking Bread in Between is a “dinner church” style gathering where we’ll share a simple supper and some deeper conversation about the week’s theme. Bring your questions, your ideas, and your stories of where you’ve found God in the in between.
Join us on Thursdays from 5:30-7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. You can come every week or just some of the time; if you’re able to RSVP, that will help us be sure to have enough food for everyone.
