Close to Home
Advent & Christmas

The holiday season is full of memories and truths that hit close to home. This time of year affects us deeply, and we hold the stories and scriptures close to our hearts: John the Baptist preparing the way, Mary singing God's praise, Joseph caring for his family, Christ born in a humble stable.

During Advent - the season of preparation for Christmas - we name our longing for God to come close to us. On Christmas, we give thanks that God has made a home here on earth with us. We welcome Emmanuel, God-with-us. You are invited to find a church home with us during this special time of year, as together we dwell in hope, peace, joy, and love.
