New Hope Youth Groups

Our newest ministry being developed and super successful at New Hope is our Children’s & Family ministry!  This includes an Elementary Youth Group.
The Elementary Youth Group is for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  We meet the 1st or 2nd Sunday of every month from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Dinner is provided and then the children engage in an activity that provides Christian fellowship among one another.  We also work on projects that reach out to people in the congregation and community.
The pictures below were taken at the December youth group meeting.  The kids diligently made Christmas cards to share with residents of the Brunswick House.  The cards were delivered when we went Christmas caroling.
The children also presented a musical for the 7pm Christmas Eve Service and put together a float for the Veteran’s Day Parade.  Come out and make some new friends as part of this new growing ministry at New Hope.  Need information?  Contact Crystal Renn at or the church office at 301-834-7320 or our church calendar
The Junior/Senior High Youth Ministry connects youth in our congregation and community to God and one another.  From mission trips to fellowship to study to lock-ins, New Hope has an active youth ministry.
Youth-aged Sunday School happens every Sunday at 10am.  Taught by various Adult Youth volunteers and Jordan Andrews, our current youth director.  This is where we delve into basic themes of our Christian faith; this is where we connect our youth to God’s purpose for their life; this is where the youth become a part of a serving, loving, and accepting community of faith.  All youth (6th-12th grades) are welcome to attend.
Youth Mission 2
In July of 2015, a team headed to Camp Hope in Frostburg to serve as the hands and feet of Christ.  During our time there we built a handicap ramp for a person in need in that community. The youth fellowshipped with community members while making friendships that will last a lifetime.

Many young people from our
church also enjoy summer camp at nearby Camp

Manidokan which is located less than 20 minutes from our church in Brunswick.  There are opportunities to horseback ride, canoe, zip-line, do arts & crafts, swim and spend the week in worship with the Lord.  We are blessed to have the camp so nearby.

For details on the next meeting and event of the New Hope Youth Group, or information on Manidokan Summer Camp, please contact Toni Gardiner at or the church office at 301-834-7320 or check the newsletter on our Get Connected page and our church calendar!
