Outreach – The first Outreach Committee Meeting for 2017 will be held this Sunday, February 12 at 10am in the Conference room (Room 1). Come and meet the new leaders and hear about outreach plans for the new year.

Youth (High & Elem) –  We were going to try to go tubing as a church family Sunday afternoon, but the weather is so warm, we wouldn’t have been able to do it. Instead, we are going to go to Sky Zone in Hagerstown, MD (a trampoline park) from 3-4:30 to jump! It is $16 a person, plus $1.75 for their socks. All are welcome. Those who want to carpool can meet at the church at 2pm.   If you were going to go tubing – We hope you will come jump – and if you weren’t going tubing – We still hope you will come jump!
The New Hope UMC Men’s Softball Team is looking for players –  If you are interested please contact Rich Wilson ( ) or Danny Renn for more information. 


Men’s Bible Study “Stepping Up” – will begin on Tuesday, February 28th.  Contact Kenny Alger for more details.
Missions Team – is looking for a person or persons to be lead for the  Domestic team. We will be there to help them thru process and questions.  If you are interested and /or have any questions to contact Patty Thornton at 301-401-8962.
Spring Women’s Retreat – March 24th– 26th.   Theme this year will be “Sweet Life Café” Where Women Savor Time With God.  Mt. Aetna Camp and Retreat Center in Hagerstown, MD.   2 nights (Meals on Sunday and brunch Sunday included):  $120 shared ; $160 single.  Day rate $65.   Please register with the church office or sign up at the back of the Sanctuary. Registration is due by March 10th.

Wednesday Morning Women’s Prayer Group—meets most Wednesday mornings at 10am. See Sandy Cox for details.
Monday Night Book Club reading “In The Grip of Grace” by Max Lucado. Meets the second Monday of every  month  at 7pm. See  Sherrie Orvis for details.
– Alpha Bible Study is a chance to ask the big questions of life and to explore what can offer meaning and hope. This program is spread over 11 sessions that offers the basics of Christian faith. Study will be lead by St. Francis- St. Mary, Catholic churches of Brunswick. Classes will be held at New Hope UMC.  Wednesdays 6:30-9:00pm. March 8,15,22,29, April 5,26 (April 8 Retreat ), May 3,10,17,24,31. Registration forms are at the back of the sanctuary or in the New Hope UMC Church office.
