Confirmation – Join us starting this Sunday at 10am for Confirmation!  

Pastor Katie and Katelyn will be teaching this class for all those in 5th grade and up. If you have a young person who is interested in participating, please let us know! 

This Lent in Our Children’s Ministry! 
Sunday mornings at0am during Sunday School, we will be following the Taste the Bread, Touch the Water Sacraments study as our young people learn about Holy Communion and the Sacrament of Baptism. During the 9am and 11am Children’s Time, younger students will be learning with Ms. Linda and the older children (to 5th grade) will be working on a Scripture drama to tell the story of Palm Sunday. This will be shared on Palm Sunday in worship. The children will be learning the Bible Story, making their costumes and practicing their parts. Please see Bailey Pritchard with any questions.

Adult Sunday School “Restored: Finding Redemption in our Mess”  starts this Sunday 10am in the Fellowship Hall.  All are welcome.

Congregational Survey – As we work to discern our mission and vision for our  community of faith, we are asking everyone to fill out a Congregational survey. You can fill out a print copy and return to the church office or fill one out online by going to this link:

A HANDBELL Group is forming.  We will rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8 pm in the chapel.  Our goal is to ring for Easter.  Come join… little or no  experience needed; we are starting easy.  Sign up poster will be in the                  sanctuary Sunday.  Our first rehearsal will be March 8.  (that gives us 6 weeks, plenty of time). Elementary (K-5th grade) Youth Group – Join us March 12th from 5-6:30 for Master Chef! We will be making our own dinners, working as teams to make something fantastic! Please let us know if you are coming, so we are sure we have enough supplies. We could use one or two parent chaperones! 

Spring Women’s Retreat– March 24th– 26th.   Theme this year will be “Sweet Life Café” Where Women Savor Time With God.  Mt. Aetna Camp and  Retreat Center in Hagerstown, MD. $120 shared ; $160 single.  Day rate $65. Registration is due by March 10th. 

WitnesSing Concert  April 2nd  at 6pm.   Concert will take the listener from Palm Sunday to the  Resurrection.  Join us for this special event.

Summer Camp 2017 – It might be chilly outside, but we are looking forward to Camp! Join us for Best Week Ever (5th to 9th graders – June 25-30th) and Mini Week (2nd to 4th graders – July 5-7th)! Give the church office a heads up if you are planning on using a Campership – Donations towards camperships can be marked “Camperships” on your check and left in the offering plate!

– Alpha Bible Study is a chance to ask the big questions of life and to explore what can offer meaning and hope. This program is spread over 11 sessions that offers the basics of Christian faith. Study will be lead by St. Francis- St. Mary, Catholic churches of Brunswick. Classes will be held at New Hope UMC.  Wednesdays 6:30-9:00pm. March 8,15,22,29, April 5,26 (April 8 Retreat ), May 3,10,17,24,31. Registration forms are at the back of the sanctuary or in the New Hope UMC Church office.
